The Sierra de Atapuerca deposits are in the province of Burgos, between the municipalities of Ibeas de Juarros and Atapuerca, just 15 km from the city of Burgos.
To access the deposits of the Sierra de Atapuerca es compulsory use of buses that depart from the Reception Centers in the towns of Atapuerca and Ibeas de Juarros, or from the Museum of Human Evolution. Before going to these Centers, it is necessary to have previously made a reservation.
